I just started mixing some B100 with each fill up in my 07 6.0L F350 King Ranch CC, 29K miles, just enough to make B2 in the tank. My main reason was after reading all the lubricity reports and posts here. My question is: does using even B2 lubricate the injectors enough to make them quieter or is it just my imagination? I've been using Stanadyne Performance Additive all along, but I've got to say that with the small amount of Bio, it sounds quieter. Anyone had any similar experience or seen any posting on it? Thanks
Adding as little as 2% bioD more than compensates for the lack of lubricity of ULSD. Having never run such a low blend I can't comment on a quieter engine on B2 but running B99 or vegoil, it's definitely quieter.
