Back to my old company. No more superintendent tho. Got rehired as an estimator. Not sure if its a step up or sideways. WHO CARES! I'm back to a paycheck.
Besides, it's hot as hades down here so I will be glad to be in an office all day. ( I think)
Hopefully this time will be diff. The DR that owns the company finally saw thru the BS the GM was pulling over his eyes ( and stealing from the company)
Just hope that if I ever get to the GM position I don't think I know everything. Amazing how many people seem to get to the top with BS and then are surprised when they get found out. I just never want to be one of those *****s that come up with dumbchit that applies ONLY to subordinates as a means to justify their position and salary.
Like the best General Manager I ever had told me " Son, when you have the company running right with little or no interference from you? You have done your job. " Makes perfect sense to me. THAT'S a true leader.
On that note.......I'm going to send this to my congressman...BRB......
