I installed a Ford aftermarket back-up camera on my Lance 850 Truck Camper. My 2011 Ford F-350 came equipped with a camera in the tailgate handle and an in dash monitor which comes on only when in reverse. You need two parts from Ford to do this. The first is the pigtail(about 3' long) that goes from the camera to a plug underneath and behind the rear bumper. That is where you will find the quick disconnect so that you can remove the tailgate. The camera itself has a plug on it which snaps into the other end of the pigtail. My truck camper extends over the rear bumper by only one foot so there is ample cable to mount it on the rear bottom of the camper. I bought both parts from the Ford dealer for $167.00. The camera assembly part number is 9C3Z19G490E but I referred to it as 19G490 and they were able to order it. I can get the pigtail part number if anyone wants it.

What a great idea! The Ford parts guy doesn't know the number for the pig tail. Do you still have it?
