What is the Best Fuel Pump for 2008 F-250 6.4l Diesel?

I just bought a 2008 F-250 Lariat 6.4l Diesel pickup. When I got to 1/4 of a tank of fuel, my engine died. I had already read about the issue and was testing to see if my pickup had it. Yep, it does!!!

I have no problem replacing the fuel pump, but I don't want to use an OEM pump expecting that it will fail in about 5 years or so. I am wondering if anyone has a review for a different pump which will last longer!

What did you test? One problem with earlier diesel trucks is a broken "shower head". This is part of the fuel pick-up in the fuel tank. They can break and cause the truck to "run out of fuel" at about 1/4 full. Do you have two fuel tanks? Is this problem with one tank or the other or both? You can do a search for "broken shower head" and see what you get. Good Luck!
