bleeding the clutch

95 7.3 5 sp Clutch master cyl was leaking so I installed a new master cyl. dI bench bled the new one then installed. Now I cannot get the pedal to come up from floor. I have bled at the slave and have run almost a quart of fluid through this thing and still no pedal????? Please. . . what am I missing???

This is the way I do it (regardless of whether the slave has a bleeder valve or not ... so do some don't). Disconnect the clutch master cylinder rod from the pedal linkage. Make sure the pedal is fully up off the floor. Unclip the slave from the bellhousing. With the slave hanging from the line (everything going uphill from there), cycle the slave by hand slowly about ten times. Reinstall the slave, reconnect the master cylinder rod and it should be good. Alternatively, you can remove the master, line, and slave as an assembly from the truck (it's really not too bad) and do the same on the bench (again making sure the fluid flow from the slave is uphill to the master.
