Brake rotors

I was watching Spike this weekends new PowerNation and saw that Toyota has two "screw holes" in their rotors so you can screw the rotors off. Would it be OK if we did the same to our rotors?

I can see it causing a little weakness but if drilled and tapped correctly, do you think it would work?
