When i accelerate the engine gets to around 1800rpms and begins to buck. At first i thought this was a clogged injector or a transmission problem, but i began to find out it might be the accelerator pressure switch. It doesnt do this in cruise control affirming my guess. anyone familiar with this?

Welcome aboard dawg96! Great to have you with the community:thumbs

From experience it sounds like the throttle position Sensor which would need replacement. Powerstrokeshop will most likely stock this part:sweet

When you get a chance to do so,add your truck's Year, model, modifications, etc information to your signiature so we know if you have a 6.0,7.3L 4x4 or 4x2:thanks
