99 F350 (late) went to replace cam sensor and mine is different.

Any ideas?

That's not the cam sensor. The tube goes to the passenger side exhaust manifold to read the pressure. The cam sensor is a bit lower and may be easier to access laying under the bumper.

Yes, I agree. The picture is not the cam sensor. The picture is the exhaust backpressure sensor, which is connected to the exhaust backpressure tube, which goes to the passenger side exhaust manifold.

The cam sensor is located on the passenger side, just on top of the crank shaft (go figure..."cam" shaft sensor?). and yes, easier to access under the bumper.
