so what is this thing going to be able to handle? Is the fuel system and the pistons the weak link like in the current power stroke or will this thing be able to hit 1000 ft/lbs wih bolt ons and ECU softwear?

Also, how in the hell is anyone supposed to know? The 6.4 hasn't been out for public consumption yet, so someone stating that any component is the weak point in that engine is GUESSING (unless they happen to be an engineer at IH, and those fellows probably aren't talking).-mad

i think it is a fairly straight forward question......i wasnt looking for facts just some openions.

I think the question makes sense just that no one can answer it. No one has a 6.4 yet, so no one will know until someone decides to forgo the warranty when they get one. Again, unless you were involved in engineering and or/production of the 6.4 in some sort of way.
