Cavitation

How does one tell if cavitation is occurring without a physical tear down inspection? In my years of reading threads and posts at various places, I have yet to find an incidence of cavitation reported. Perhaps because members of these sites monitor their SCA levels?

I dont know if there is a test one can perform that indicates cavitation. I think on the PSD cavitation is rare, even if you run low on SCA. We dont have the high comprssion factor like the IDI guys. I havent heard of a PSD with cavitation issues before. Not that it cant happen, I just havent heard it.
