cleaning plastic chrome

just wanted some opnions on what would be the best & safest way to clean chrome plated plastic (i.e. chrome tow mirrors):thanks

I have used Windex (any brand) on my various "chrome" parts.

bon ami wont scratch but wil remove dead bugs guts and road tar.

its also great for winders, removes the build up and makes em sqeaky clean
just rinse very well then wash the truck normally

Bon Ami
it has a picture of a baby chicken(chick) on it, with the words "hasnt scratched yet" been around since 1900 something :D it not me :D :D
yellow and gold container like comet, but dont use comet it will scratchhhhhh

windows
vinegar and water
25/75 ratio with a squeeze of lemon juice
for inside windows, it will cut teh cig smoke or oter films fast and smells good plus it costs about 20 cents as opposed to windex and 409
