Got some codes today and I could use some help deciphering them.

1248

There was no MAP data/reading and no wastegate data/reading also.

My symptons are an occasionnal SES light when at 3-5 lbs boost at cruise AND sometimes at 50-60 mph I don't get boost until the pedal is pressed enough to cause a down shift. Then boost jumps up to normal levels. Other times the engine acts normal.

Any suggestions??

Yeah the 1211 relates to the IPR or Injection Pressure Regulator,it's probably got a wire short,it's stuck or it's plain dead.

The 1248 relates to the MAP sensor as there could be EBPV,air intake,turbocharger,MAP hose issues or the MAP sensor itself is done.

A few of us are getting together this Saturday in Wylie installing Sonnax kits if you wanted to come on by to meet some of the SDD gang

I had heard in the recent past that hot performance chips may make the ICP or IPR go askew.

Anyone else with experience in this area as I'm only running a programmer and haven't ventured into hot chips.
