there otta be some dude gettin 40 miles to the gallon the way they advertise mods::roflmao :roflmao :roflmao :roflmao

intake + 1-2mpg
10k mod + 1-2mpg
exhaust + 1-2mpg
aih delete + 1-2mpg
pre pump + 1-2mpg
chip +1-2mpg
new improved cps + 1-2mpg
203 stat + 1-2mpg
wicked wheel + 1-2mpg

whatever, a chip is the biggest improvement, the other mods are to compliment the chip, or keep things safe. MPG is how heavy your foot is. I coulda got better mileage going to INDY by driving 65-68 and keepin the boost down......just one problem I drive 7 mph over the speedlimit. If they set it at 90............you guessed it. If I hurt my mileage by more than 2 mpg than maybe I would slow down, but my time is worth more than that to me.

I got right at 17-19 with 7-9 lbs boost, 10-17 on the grades, 2050-2250 rpm, 600-700egt's 800-900 grades, tranny at 125-135. I can live with that.

I agree about tuners
my mpg on my 2002 7.3 at highway was terrible 13-14, had 4.10 gearset
i installed the predator and it jumped in the 40 hp load to 15 highway
in the 65-80 hp load it jumped up to 16-17 , this is at 75-77 mph

still fence sitting on putting one in my 6.0

Powerboater, at the rate you drive, you'll be out of warranty on that engine anyway soon, so installing a tuner and taking a "chance of voiding your warranty" probably will be a moot point, right?

My city miles are a little jaded do the the fact that I live at the top of a pretty good grade and dragging 8000# + up there everytime I go to the house really puts a damper on my average. Plus with all the other hills around where I live if I only drove in my neighborhood I would prolly only average like 8 or 9mpg.
