Just for FYI... As I was a fixing my Power Steering Pump leak, I found a vacume hose just a hanging...
It was connected to a "device", drivers side, wheel well cover. On trucks with factory air box I think it would be between it and the driver on the wheel cover.
It looks kind of like a vacume distribution center. Round like a LARGE tin of snuff, with a "tit" comming out its side, and several hoses comming out of and into it.
Plugged it in and NO MORE annoying brake light!!!
