Diesel power artical "ATF as fuel"

Did anyone read the artical on using used filtered ATF as fuel? The man in said artical was using something like a 80% mixture of atf to 10% diesel. It was a great artical imho. Just wondering what others thought on the subject.

this has hit this forum a few times now, and the general population says NO. modern atf has come a long way, and has a lot of additives, none of wich were designed to be burned. also the non-metal fuel system components were not designed to handle the "attacking" nature of atf, and i would fear seal and o-ring failures.

I don't think a gallon of ATF would be cheaper than a gallon of diesel.
