My 2005 Excursion has a build date of July 2005. I have read online that the 2005 and newer 6.0 engines had the one piece STC (snap to connect) fitting on the HPOP, meaning it wont separate.
While my truck is almost 10 years old, I only have 62k miles on it and I don't have any starting problems.
Am I on borrowed time and should I replace the STC connector and oil rail plugs?
