What is the best upgrade for these trannys, as far as shift kit etc. I have just purchased a larger cooler. I tow a trailer occasionally.

The easiest is the sonnax valve and tricumulator springs, only 50 bucks and does a good job. Can get it thru some of the vendors fairly easy to put in just drop the pan and do a fluid filter change if you didn't when you put the cooler on. Did you get a gauge on it?

I'm running a transgo tugger HD2 kit in mine and am very pleased with the results but as highfive said the sonnax & tricum springs are the easiest the tugger is still relatively easy but for full benefits you need to pull the front pump off and upgrade some in there.

I know you only asked about a shift kit, but IF you go the transgo tugger kit (mine is the same set up as Brandons) then you really should consider a good aftermarket TC.
