Engine light

My engine light came on tonight on my 2015 superduty. The 6.7 has performed flawless on the trip. I am at an rv park 100 miles from home. I am returning home from a 1200 mile trip. I started the unit to go to store. No problem. Got back in and yellow engine light came on at start. The truck sounds good and returned to rv park with no problem. Been driving through the siskiyous pulling my 5th wheel. Any ideas? Could it be related to old def?

There are many things that can trip your engine light, up and including a loose fuel cap. Mine did it the other day and it was a NOs sensor rage issue. I reset it and now all is fine. It may return however at this point its good. BTW I use a 5 dollar app on my phone along with a 100 dollar OBD2 Blutooth adapter. I keep it in my truck for the rare occasion I need it. Note that some codes can not be reset and require a repair before they can such as the DEF Injector, been there done that.
