I have a 04 XLT super duty and want to add the factory overhead console, I don't have one now and want to know if the factory wiring harness is there above the headliner. Has anybody done this. Thanks Ford Country

If the o/h console just has domelights in it you could just tap off the existing domelights. I'm pretty sure ford would use the same color wiring on all o/h lights to make it easy on the techs, but i've seen stranger things from those cats. There should only be 3 wires up there anyway. +, - & door trigger(black w/ light blue stripe). Door trigger will show 12 volts when door is opened.
