Finally Got To Drive an '08 (pics & video)

while the ford dealer was servicing my 2004, i went to one of my buddies there, and told him to give me the keys to the XL 2008 out front.

drove it down the road for a few miles, and then took it home to snap some pics for everyone.

i was really impressed with how quite the 6.4 was, but the get up and go was not what i was expecting. it would take some gettin use to i guess.

but the power was there. very good drivability, handled great. made me wish i had the same front-end susp. as this one had.

the XL interior was very comfortable, and would make a great work truck.

i didnt try to do that, but the owner of the dealership told me that when they got it in, he took it for a test drive. he held the brakes to the floor and power braked it, he said it left two long black streaks in the parking lot.
