Found this little Ditty on another Dezel Site.
Not sure how many model years this pertains to but...
The flange portion of the rubber boot, at the base of the radio anntena is supposed to be tucked down into the hole in the windshield cowling... only the part that covers the antenna base nut should be showing.
[Keeps the boot from wanting to travel up the anntena, in the wind, at speed. Mine did.]
Supposed to be done during Antenna install, @ Dealer Prep... but is Often overlooked. Mine wasn't tucked in. Is now.
Thought I'd pass it on ?
