When I leave here I want to get into some seasonal work in the North West Territory and in order to be eligible I have to be legally able to work in Canada. Most of the companies I looked at stated they only hire Northerners, but a few said they will also consider non Canadian residents who are legally able to work in Canada. I have been able to find very little on this subject, can any of you help me figure out what I need to do?

yes that would be but that's the chamber of commerce for that area not the resort.

Thanks, That is good information. Now I am on the right road. IS there any other advice or information I should be aware of?

My knowledge is from people wanting US work/education visas and they must be patient, very patient. I've heard that Canada is much easier and far more friendly to non-resident workers.

I have heard something similar as well. I have also heard it could take a couple of years. I want to do this before I attend the academy.
