My SD is bone stock; I mainly want a bit of towing power and more mpg for commuting. I intend to add a tuner (leaning Diablo Sport) and a 4 inch exhaust with MBRP or Aero Turbine. (I will do the zoodad mod myself also.)

It appears that Ranchhand on 1960 (always available and friendly but pricey), Pickup Specialities on 2920 (won't return emails but good website) and Diesel Innovations off 1960 (serious technical & performance) all have solutions. I have not priced them all but they seem capable of doing this.

Does anyone have experience with the above?
Alternatives in NW Houston?

I am pretty capable but just do not want to perform the work myself. (Gotta paint a house before graduating a daughter in May.)

Thanks much for the great site and your time in considering replies.

Id have to say the guys at DI on 1960/Jones...ive never
heard a bad thing about 'em.

ive bought a few odds and ends from 'em and ive
always been well treated (even on a return item/exchange
that was WELL outta warranty).

Ive never used 'em for wrenching myself.

Ive been in the "store" many times and ive NEVER heard 'em
speak poorly to or of anyone or treat anyone poorly on the
phones either.

i had the opp. to meet david himself (owner)...wind caught the
door of my truck as i was getting out...and it hit his door...i went
in and let 'em know...he and i both went out and looked over his
truck (i was willing to make things right)...he was polite and friendly
and blew off the bump/rub.
