How to Turn Off Daytime Running Lights

Not sure on the newer trucks, but on the 97 and older trucks there was a "module" that plugs in the wiring harness behind the switch, on those, remove the plugs from the module and plug them into each other, rather than the module, and DRL is gone.... back to standard US Headlights...... that plug is on all the trucks, just the ones with DRL have the module.

Maybe something the same on the 99+ Superduties.......

i found out how to do it. there is a resistor module infront of the driver side battery next to the headlight. it is under a wire mesh cover/box. unplug the wire and no more daytime running lights. the auto lights still work and all is good.

I'm in the process of moving to Tennessee, and I WANT daytime running lights. Right now I get them by covering up the sensor for the auto lamps. Would like to have the DRL module, though.

My gf's truck had the daytime headlight feature. We hated it. Just removed the fuse and no more.
