Im new to this site and just wanted to say hows it goin to everyone. I am currently trying to buy a 99 PSD from a friend and was wondering how to get the most amt of power and smoke as cheap as possible. it already has a bully dog 4 pos chip on it. any help would be greatly appreciated !!

I think you will find that most everyone will suggest guages first, to protect your truck. Then, you might upgrade the intake and exaust. Directions for a very inexpensive intake can be found here: wiki

welcome diesel knievel. glad you found us. i wouldn't be much help on a '99, mines an '04 6.0l.

there are several members here who can help you out a whole lot. i would lean towards more power and less smoke. get a good exhaust, MBRP, banks monster dual exhaust, etc. maybe a good air filter intake, to start off with.

Ummm - All I did was give him directions on how to get here - whatever happens next - I'm blaming you guys -

Yep - month or so ago Northern Virginia had massive rain in one 24 hour period, around 2 inches per hour - last time was 300 years ago - massive flooding - shut down the interstates and tore up a ton of homes. So - the foundation repair business has been non-stop.
