For almost 30 years, Grand Rock has been one of the leading exhaust manufactures for the Heavy truck market. Now they introduce a complete line of high performance exhaust systems for the diesel pickup truck market, named POWERFLOW.
Based on Grand Rock’s concept of quality first, we use only the highest-grade materials, from the best raw material suppliers.
All of our turbo pipes have a pyrometer fitting, so you wont have to drill and weld your own later. Our hangers are made up of ½” rod, then welded to a welded flat bolt double saddle clamp. Then they are zinc plated, to prevent rust. Versus other brands that use a 3/8” wire welded to a plain cheap automotive grade round bolt clamp.
We supply enough tube in our kits to fit from the shortest to the longest of wheelbases in one kit. ACCUSEAL clamps are used on each joint for superior sealing. This makes the joints more serviceable versus the other automotive clamps, which the other kits use. Plus ALL our kits come with a polished stainless steel tip.
Grand Rock’s POWERFLOW line also has the first thru the bed DUAL STACK Kit. Get the 18 wheel “big rig” look for your pickup truck. These kits are very simple to install, and looks great.
Our chrome stacks, sold separately, come in four choices of style. Straight, Miter Cut, Curved, and Bull Horn. With Grand Rock’s history and reputation for quality, the chrome on our stacks is brilliant, and comes with a one-year warranty.
Another new innovative product we offer is our patented QP (quiet performance) muffler. Originally developed for the high performance cars, the scavenging effect quickly found their way into the commercial industry. After extensive dyno testing we have found measurable horsepower and torque gains. The other “cool” attraction to the QP muffler is the sound. Quiet, but with a tone, and NO drone! After you get over the new and improved sound your truck makes, and get your foot out of the throttle, your fuel mileage will increase. We’ve found 3% to 12% gains in miles per gallon. How much gain depends on gearing, weight, type of drive train, towing, etc…your gains will vary.
Our extreme champ of fuel mileage gained, that we are aware of, is a gentleman with a Dodge 4 valve 5.9 Cummins. This is his everyday driver; he has it equipped with a high flow intake system, mild chip in the computer, tall gears, and a stick shift with cruise control. He had gone from 18.3 miles per gallon to 21.5! That’s an 18% gain! The bottom line on any performance and mpg gain is to let the engine breath. Both in and out! Whatever brand you choose, both performance and mpg will be increased.
Speaking of the other brands, many come in all sorts of completions. From the “bare bone’s” which come with out hangers, to the “extreme” which include every thing needed.
