Intake???

What do you guys think about building an intake for our 6.4's. Obviously its been done with alot of other rigs, but upwards of 300 bucks seems steep.

yup I seen that. $295 for the intake and filter... WHAT A BARGAN>>> ****! Maybe 6mon. to a year. they will come down.

$269 shipped for the S&B intake kit is a great deal IMO. Even comes with it's own torque tube and no CEL worries.

How is the milage with it.? Are there any problems with the DPF.. ? Thanks for the info by the way.

Installed one on my pops '08 450 and he gained 1mpg. 10%, not bad if you only get 9-10mpg unloaded. No cels. We did get a cel when we installed one on his '08 250. both units are AFE Stage 2 w/ yellow filters. Also put a bully dog programmer on the 450 an gained 1 mpg on performance setting. Gained nothing on the 250. About 290 for the intakes each

Just ordered the Banks intake and exhaust today. mileage is estimated to go up by 2mpgs with both. We will see.

Just installed the Ram Air intake from BANKS. It only took less than 30 min. Drove it a few miles and seemed to have better pickup and quicker turbo spool. Exhaust is on its way should be here friday. Tried to upload a pick but could not get it to load.

cool.!! Love to see it.. I am leaving on Vac to the outer bank today. be back next weekend. I will let you know how it pulls and milage on the fifth wheel. This will be the first pull. ?????
