Hey Guys! I am new to the diesel world, but I bought mine for the ability to run bio diesel. It seems that eveywhere I check around Nashville TN they tell me they have a company that pays them for their wvo. I found a place on the net that tells me I cAn get wvo from them for $300 a metric ton. I don;t know if it has been filtered or dewatered or not, I will check that out b4 I buy it. What I would like to know is. Do you think it is a good price? I know that a MT is 2,204.6 lbs thats roughly .14 a pound so how much wvo does it take to make a gal of bio?

Last guy I knew took a deal like that ended up with tallow, completely unusable for homebrew purposes and was rancid to boot.
Keep after it you will find some in the .05 to .10 range.

Thanks Rick! I found out after I posted the question that the oil was from China. I don't feel any ill will to those folks, well except they are using up all the oil these days. I just strongly suspect a scam in the works. I will keep looking.
