Noticing that many of the newer lux cross-overs are heating the rear seats. Question: As the King Ranch has four (4) captain's chairs, do the rear seats get the benefit of being heated ?

Also, Blue Ovals been heating & cooling front seats on several brands. Anyone in the engineering community aware of this feature for the SD in the near future ?

Seat heaters seem like a waste to me. I would go with a cooled seat 10 times before I needed a heated seat. The sweaty back is not too pleasant, especially if you are going somewhere all dressed up.

to date, from ford, theres no option for rear heated seats...
OR cooled seats...

theyd be easy enough to install...i installed 'em in the
front seat of my wifes Subaru Legacy...took me a day,
and i'd NEVER done it before.

I used these EXACT seats: Cobra Seat Heat
...and honestly theyre all pretty much the same !

the "wires" are carbon fiber and the heating "pads" can be
trimmed to fit w/ a pair of conventional scissors.

my wifes (leather clad) subaru seats could NOT be had with
heated seats from the factory...the cobra seat heat pads,
imo, are better than what ford installs...they have a lo/hi
selection and they NEVER cycle on and off like our seats !

if you EVER get a chance to experience "cooled" seats youll
be SHOCKED at how nice they can be....they actually can cool
too MUCH (saping your body temp).

there are retro fit kits for "cooled" seats too....although
you really need perforated seat covering for it to work...
