Leveling kit and overall height >>

I'd like to add a leveling kit, but if my truck is any taller it won't fit in my garage. Does the leveling kit increase overall height at all?

Basically by adding a leveling kit which brings the front end up some 2"-2.5" inches,take a floorjack and lift the front axle up that 2-2.5" at the garage door opening and see if it interferes with clearance.

Mine raised the overall height 1.5 inches. Just by keeping the roof level.

And then when you put on the required tires...

Is there anyone who has installed one,that can tell me whats included in the Leveling kits?Also,Are they truck specific(F-250,F-350) or not?

Yes, I have done mine. You should get everything you will need. I got everything , minus a few tooks to do mine. I did it in about 3 hours, plus or minus. I would say air tools are a must as well as two floor jacks. You will need several BIG blocks to block up the frame when you get it jacked up. Then use the floor jacks to support the front end while you take the springs out and replace them. They are truck specific. Good Luck and dig up friends.
