Question Lower Ball joint replacement

How in the world do you replace the lower ball joint on the 1997 F-250 4WD. It look like a job and a half.

Look in the SDD Technical Articles - WIKI section above (top Blue Line). I wrote a ball joint article last year. It is about removing and replacing ball joints. It is a job!!!

it is time consuming, not overly difficult provided you have the right tools for the job. I did mine in the driveway at a leisurely pace one saturday, it did take the better part of the day.

Whatever you do while you're in there replace the upper joint too, it's also a good time to evaluate the condition of your front axle u-joints.

Does the nut for the lower joint loosen clockwise by chance?
