Hi folks, just arrived here from you-know-where (sound of whip cracking in the distance...)

Thanks to Scott (Sagebel) for the invite.

The title of my topic is two-fold, I guess, as I am about to (in a couple of weeks' time), begin my own conversion of Bertha (see sig). I have a few more questions, but mostly just ordering tools (yay! I love new tools) and parts, and lying awake at night thinking about the conversion.

By the way, is ToddT and CPUneck here from TDS? They were a great help to me in my early ponderings....

Anyway, take care everyone. Talk to you soon.

Welcome Brian! Great to have you aboard! :sweet

Pass the word along the grapevine that the days of opressive rule is over to our fellow brothren at the other place :thumbs :cowboy:

Welcome aboard Brian. I would love to see a pictorial/write-up of your install when you get around to it.

Hey good to see you Brian. Are you going the WVO route?

Yup! On today's agenda is to drill 15 holes in my roof for fuel line routing ;)
  • installing cab lights
  • fixing my overhead console (I hope)
  • running wires for my overhead gauge pod for WVO operation: fuel temp, fuel press, coolant temp, and hourmeter !!

Should be fun. Except for the drilling holes part... :guns:

How's it going over there?

Thanks for the tip RazzyB. I see some good people are already on board.

I hope to share pics of my 'filtration station' and biodiesel reactor soon.

Things going good here. My oil source has great oil and I have a 55 gal. drum of methanol and 20 lbs. of KOH arriving tomorrow :thumbs Hopefully I can get off work early and brew up my first big batch.
