i was lookin around the net today and saw a site w/ mileage on some diesel pickups.i was wondering what kinda mileage all you have? ive got 98,000 on my '00. and ive heard the power strokes dont last as long as the old 7.3s. only till about 200,000 then they start to die.

I just rolled over 150,000 on mine last week and from most reports I hear I can expect to easily double that....... I've heard of guys going in excess of 500K.

I've got 180k on mine and it has pulled trailiers for more miles than it has run empty. It has been chiped for most of its life too. I expect to run it another 100k. With proper maintanence they should go a long time.

Nope, that's a duramax life expectancy, ours go 300,000 to 500,000. The new 6.0 has seen some high numbers for IH, we'll see how that translates for the trucks. They are cast iron like the 7.3.

My 02 just celebrated it's 3rd birthday and has almost 85,000 on it. Still doing great, actually the fuel mileage is getting a little better.

I have all of 61K on a 2000 with 25K of it accounted for moving across country and vacation trips. I just hope the paint last as long as the truck
