Just installed 4.30 factory gears 2 weeks ago. What a difference in power. It's really hard to keep my foot out of it now. Should be great for towing my 25 ft travel trailer as well. I think my highway mileage is gonna suffer though but it was worth it.

I've got 4.56 gears in my Bronco and with 35 inch BF's the rpm's are close to stock so with your setup you might see an improvement in mileage. (if you can keep your foot out of it):thumbs

Ive got em in my Ex, and mpg does suck above about 75 or so....but If I go higher and turn bigger tires it will be just fine!

I'll be installing a DR 6 inch lift and 37 inch X Terrains this spring. They're sitting in the garage waiting to go on. It'll be interesting to see what the fuel mileage will be then.

i have 430's in my truck and love them, except for long highway trips when i am in a hurry. Most of the time i cruze at 70-71 and they do great, i pull 12-20k more often then i should and it does so much better than my 03 7.3 with the 3.73's.
