Well its official I but a down payment on a F250 today. Would like to thank everybody for their help in my other threads. I had to drive two hours away to meet the guy that had it for sale but I believe it was well worth it. I drove the truck gave it a good looking over found a few thing that will need to be fixed but all in all I think I done pretty good on this one. Its a 2005 xlt 4x4 crewcab diesel with 124,000 miles picked it up for 12,500.00 I thinks thats awesome. Once again thanks to all for there help.

Hope they don't put you in jail for stealing the truck. LOL Sounds to me like a real good deal. Tell us more about it and post a picture or two when you can. Good Luck with it.

This is the first diesel I have owned so i'm really excited about it. I've been looking for almost a year now and after finding this one I couldn't pass it up. It needs a little tlc on the interior but the body is in great shape. I've got several things in mind to do to the truck put I know it will just take a little time. First and foremost I want to do the egr delete kit because I know these can cause alot of problems. Also would like to do the head studs and black onyx head gaskets,exhaust and a programer and bigger tires to fill in the fenders.

Is it a Texas truck, looks like a Texas Inspection sticker on the truck. Truck looks real nice, and at 12.500 you can afford to do all the mods you have listed.

The truck is out of West Virginia. Guy bought it new owns a construction co. and is replacing it with a new one. I want to do all the mods right away but the wife has other plans.
