This morning I noticed my '99 F350 7.3 dropping fluid on the passenger side at the back of engine. It wasn't engine oil or transmission fluid, much lighter and clearer. It seemed much more viscous than fuel. At first I thought it might be brake fluid or power steering fluid but no loss of fluid in those systems and definitely leaking in the wrong place for those. I thought maybe PAG fluid from AC system but not sure. Any thoughts on what it might be? Or tests to start narrowing things down? It definitely threw me at first, it was dripping from the back right side of the oil pan, some coming off of the starter motor, and also coming out the weep hole of the torque converter cover. Again definitely not engine oil or tranny fluid though. Thanks for any thoughts or help you can give. Greg

well i could be the ac system but most likely, or it could be water that was from the water pump

If it smells like fuel it could be coming from the fuel filter housing drain valve leaking maybe.
