Oil Question

I had some left over FoMoCo 15/40 Diesel motor oil left over after I sold my truck.

My Dad used some of it in my Mother's gas burner SUV.

Is this a bad thing or is it OK?

Never killed any of my gassers. It will be fine.

I used Rotella 15W40 oil in my Chevy Citation V6 for 11 years. The oil was free at my job and I was poor and struggling....
Never had ANY oil related problems so your Mom should be just fine.
