There are a couple guys in SF that run on olive oil. News did a piece on them about a year ago. The only oils I know to be a problem are the fast drying oils like linseed and sardine oil. If a puddle of it can sit out several days without turning to a linoleum like substance it should be fine. Most oils will eventually turn to "chicken skin" if left out long enough tho.

That is some pretty high priced oil to be burning for fuel. I personally use rapseed oil which I buy as Biodiesel.

Olive Oyl stays at home and doesn't work. She has Sweet Pea to take care of. Popeye is an old fashioned sailor and won't let her out of the house! :D

The guys on the interview got a truckload of stuff thru their business that couldn't be sold as food for some reason. I think they said it worked out to 40cents a gallon
