Awhile back we were talking about appliances we used when we were a kid, and I found a picture like the first electric washer my Grand Mother purchased.
We used an old ringer washing mashine to wash and ring out all the clean up shop towels at my Dad's used car store when I was a kid. I loved running the towels thru it, but had to be careful not to let the fingers get to close.
LOLOLO p.s. dad has one of them in the barn right now....yup, shop rag cleaner...run em thru the rollers to ring them out....but if you put a towel in that is too thick, watch out, the top snaps open and if you are leaning over the machine it will bust you in the mouth...it was close, very close...
MY GRANDMOTHER STILL HAS ONE IN HER CELLAR AND IT LOOKS BRAND NEW.WHEN THEY BROKE MY UNCLE WENT TO A FRIENDS WHO HAS A WAREHOUSE FULL OF OLD STUFF AND HE STILL HAS THOSE WASHING MANCHINES IN BOXES.MY GRANDMOTHER KEPT EVERTHING AND MY PAPPY BUILT 3 MORE ROOMS ONTO THERE HOUSE TO STORE IT ALL.WHEN I GO BACK IT IS LIKE GOING BACK IN TIME.
