switch is bad niether side will move up and left. My question is does the whole door panel need to come off or just the panel of the switch ??? and how to remove?? before i break the whole thing figuring it out .....

it comes out so eay it will SCARE you
firmly place the palm of your right hand at the rear most portion of the switch panel, press firmly to get a good grip
take free hand (left ) and gently lift up the front pointy edge, slightly (no more than a 1/4 inch while pushing firmly with the right hand, it will pop forward, up and off then you can unplug the wires and get a new switch
it will act like it does not want to move, but be firm and in one smooth movement pop it up and forward
