Questions on resizing pics for the gallery...

I've been trying to post pictures in my gallery, I've gotten all the way to the end where I've browsed and choosen the pics to upload into my gallery, but I hit a roadblock when it says the pics are to large to load into it. Now here's where my superior lack of knowledge rears its ugly head, and I haven't a clue on how to resize the pics from my computer. I really don't want to have to link all my photo's, I'd much rather pull them from my gallery like the other forums I frequent. I've searched a little and couldn't come up with anything. TIA.

I believe the maximum image size is 450x600 but let me check on that.

For photo resizing some popular programs are Resize Photos - Free Online Photo Resizing - Resize Digital Photos , Image resizing, do it with PIXresizer and Resize Images online

(on edit) Maximum image size for the gallery is 500x700.

Thanks! I'll try some of those links and see what I can do. I really want to show off my truck and post some pics of some potential leaking around my turbo to see if it's a serious problem or not.
