Remove Overhead console

How do you remove the cover on the overhead console without breaking anything?
I want to examine my mileage computer board for damage or loose solder joints.

the entire "shroud" is basically just "hangin'" there...it take a pretty good
pull...I started at the front w/ a hand on each side (driver side & pass. side)
and give it a good pull...youll swear it isnt right & that its gonna break...
and then POP itll come loose...and youll go SHEESH !
