removing 06 6 stacker radio

I was wondering how to remove the radio from a 06 f350.

youll need this tool (sold in pairs @ bestbuy/circuit city/WALMART)
for about 4 bucks...

you may have to pull the face of the dash off and remove some
security "screws" too, but its pretty easy.

Thanks for the replys but this one does not have the four holes on it.It must bolt in some how?

the 06 bolts in the dash with 4 bolts. Pull the dash panel loose and unbolt it to remove it.

They changed the Radio style in 05 when the changed the dash, you only need those little tools on 04 and older SD's

Yup what he said Just watch what you are doing ford didnt leave alot of slack in the wires attached to the panal and the antena wire is very short.

Yeah, these "new" trucks arent DIN mounts any longer.

For 99-2004 trucks the DIN tools is whats required,now for the 05-up trucks Here's just the Article needed
