photos REPAIRED: Whirlpool <DUET> !

Good thing we have a 3 car garage...needed it for all the parts that have
to come off the washing machine so i could get to the part that needed replacement !

I could make a good living at fixing these things....rumor is that the repair
is over 600 bucks ! (i got the parts for 200 and felt LUCKY) !

At least you have the patience to do the job. I would have probably just bought a new one and given the old one to Goodwill or Salvation Army.

same one...just finally got 'round tu-it !
I went slow...i was told it "paid" 4hrs...and the
professionals do it in 2-3hrs.

it took me 5 w/ testing and lunch...id do it again
in a heart beat...although i hope this bearing lasts
longer than 3 yrs !

the whirlpool is EXACTLY the same as the KENMORE <btw>

Kenmore is the same as a lot of things..
Maytag, Whirlpool, Roper, Amana, Kelvinator all make appliances for Kenmore..

nice try but...i told the wife to run the hell outta the noisy bearing...
run it til either it busts completely or until i get an afternoon to tear it
