I have a 99 F350 SRW. It is the early 99 model. I need to replace the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. Can anyone give me an idea of the difficulty on this? Should I be able to do this in a day, having never done this before?

What tools will I need.

The replacement parts have been purchased, but no install directions included.

Sorry to sound so incompetent.:dunno

Thanks for any help.:notworthy

just be careful when you are hooking things up under the dash the spring on the clutch pedal will break your nose if it gets you! So why are you replacing them? If it is doing what I think it is, thats not going to fix it! if you have questions pm me

Sorry. Been OOT. Taking the truck to the dealer for a quick check. Will know something in a couple of days. I know now that it was not the slave cylinder or the master cylinder. Had those replaced and now the clutch seems soft, but still having the same problem.
