Question Rig Down transmission dead in the water

My F2 50 super duty 03 with 6.0 engine the transmission won't engage the pump is running it's just not shifting the plates is there a vacuum modulator or something in those regards could be hose off or something It has not give me any trouble and shifting befor Then I'll sudden it happened?

I'm pretty sure everything is computer controlled now. Have you tried scanning for codes?

Thanks for the reply its appreciated. I haven't yet scanned for codes. It is up in the mountains right now yeah 10 four on that everything being electronic. I had a problem my charging system recently just a bad alternator you think that might have zapped something in the system by letting the batteries run down real low and then jumping on and all that. tanks Landman

I hate to say it, but there is a good chance the input shaft is broken. Known issue.

Oh no does this happen often I had low batteries for a while to be a sensor or something like that as well or well thank you for your input appreciated
