Sealed Beams

Headlights are burning out pretty quick. I'm on a 3rd burned out headlight. I use the sealed beam types. I had upgraded to the Silverstars after original stock sealed beam burned out. But since them two of them have burned out. I think I'm going to go back to the plain jane sealed beams. 20 bucks a pop for silver stars is too much to pay for headlights that don't last very long. I put 8 to 10K miles a month on this truck. I think the heavy duty suspension is causing havoc with the filiments.

Anyone else have problems with the sealed beams?

Just a thought

I am not sure but if you loose your passenger side light the most it could be the amount of vibration and temp changes caused by the intake location. ALot of air and debris goes by there.
