I've been here about a week and Love the site! I have already done the DIY intake and purchased a CPS for its future failure! This is my first Ford and so far I like the truck! I am looking for more power. I had a new 03 duramax that I loved but not the huge payment! Would removing the cat and muffler help or hurt the truck? Untill I can buy a new exhaust system. I have a new 28 ft trailer on order to haul my pride and joy in so I had to have more than the 1/2 ton suburban I used to drive!

i found freeing up my 6.0 exhaust really woke up the baby and made her more fun to drive up brindlee mountain

I, too, am pretty new to the diesel world. You'll find that everyone will tell you to get guages before doing any modding. Pyro, EGT, and Tranny if you are going to be doing a lot of towing. They are first on my list.
Also, don't forget the Zoodad mod. There's no cost, except for your time!
