living well in Texas
on other weird symptom i forgot about until this afternoon
about 3 months prior to the final failure i started get weird injector noises in first gear at high rpm right before it would shift to 2nd
i turned off all nosie producing items, a/c, radio etc
and it sounded like the injectors were runing out of fuel . sort of metallicly ringing , i know that sounds weird.
but it harkened back to the days if the idi 7.3 when i would occasionally run it out of fuel
i at first thought the b20 blend was to thick for the fuel pump but it did it with the normal ulsd as well.
this also makes sense as the hpop is not keeping up at higher rpms.
