'Stalk' in fuel bowl?

Hey all,
I was wondering if someone has a picture, or can point me to where one is, of the black 'stalk' that the fuel filter sits on in the fuel bowl. Whilst changing my filters the other day, I noticed some jagged edges on the top of it where it looks like it has been broken. So I would like to compare mine with some others.

Also, if it turns out mine is broken, anyone have a part number for this?
